Golden Valley Waterfall

Golden Valley Waterfall, Hidden Gem Of Munduk

Any conversation of waterfalls in Bali will eventually turn to the Munduk area. The mountainous terrain and tropical jungles are rife with waterfalls that would rival any others on the island, and within Indonesia itself. Munduk Waterfall, Red Coral, and Labuan Tebo are all names that roll off the tongue, however for some reason Golden Valley Waterfall gets lost in...

Bukit Asah – Camping In Paradise

Bukit Asah is an amazing headland in East Bali that is often overlooked by visitors to the area. This is probably because of the more popular Virgin Beach, which is situated directly below it. While this is understandable, it is a crime for anyone to miss the glorious views on offer simply because they were not aware it existed. With an outlook that stretches to...

Batu Kursi – The Bali Hike With A Difference

Batu Kursi can be found in the North West of Bali overlooking the glorious village of Pemuteran. Topped by a small temple with a trail that is more a series of concrete steps up the side of the hill, it’s a hike that often escapes any of the most popular lists. But this Bali hike is one that is worth stopping by and checking out if you are in the area. First of...

Munduk Waterfalls And Views for Days

As I sit here writing this post I am looking out across a lush green valley adorned with Palm trees and tropical rain forest. Originally I came here for the Munduk waterfalls, but to my surprise, I have found there is so much more to the Munduk area, and the little village of Gobleg that I currently call home. The home stay I have found is typical of most you will...
